Dr. Ansell is the absolute best Dermatologist/Doctor I have ever been to. She is so kind and made me feel comfortable immediately. I went in to have a mole checked. She was so knowledgable, answered all of my questions (made me feel like no question was a dumb one even though I'm sure some of them were), and gave me follow up information on skin things I was curious about. She is 100 going to be my primary dermatologist; I just love her. Couldn't have had a better experience!

Excellent service, starting with reception, assistants and doctor, they are very friendly, attentive. Doctor Eric tried to see that everything is fine and if it is not within his reach he will refer you to a specialist who can help better, very happy for the attention, you will not regret it.

Dr. Ansell is absolutely amazing. She is thorough, competent, extremely intelligent, thoughtful and an all around amazing person and doctor. For example, I do an annual skin check with her and she is extremely thorough checking every single spot throughout my entire body and following up consistently in areas she feels are remotely abnormal. She is more thorough than any other doctor I have ever been to in this regard. She is always calm, comforting, and has unbelievable bedside manner. Earlier this year when I had a newborn and could not get in with a pediatric derm for multiple months, she squeezed me in DAY of to ease my mind and come up with a plan to help with a rash for my son. Additionally, she followed up the next day to see how he was doing. This speaks to her dedication and character. She is hands down one of my very favorite doctors and I truly could not recommend her enough.

I consider myself lucky to have found Dr. Ansell. She is warm and friendly; more important, I had a lot of light treatments in the past and have been concerned about possible skin cancer. She is the ONLY doctor among many dermatologists I have seen who immediately suggested a skin check and ordered several biopsies. She subsequently called me herself to say that I should have surgery on one but was reassuring, and the procedure was a success. The staff is uniformly helpful and competent. I felt very comfortable going to the office even in the middle of the pandemic.

Dr Ansell is brilliant. Aside from being personable, curious to learn about me and my family, and relatable, she is the only dermatologist in Manhattan to accurately diagnose my hair problems and put a plan together to address it. She researched my specific symptoms, consulted colleagues and experts in the field, and as a result, the root cause of my problem has been addressed and I even have hair regrowth. I am forever grateful to Dr Ansell for her thoughtfulness and kindness and her willingness to take on a challenge that more than five other experts could not solve. I’ve been a patient for five years and I would recommend her again and again, and for any dermatological issue. Her guidance on wrinkles and preventative care is pretty amazing, too.

Dr. Treiber (both Ruth and Eric) are the best in the business! I have been seeing them literally my whole life - I have tried others but not a single one comes close to how good Dr. Ruth Trieber is! Any issue you may be having, SHE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT! She, and the rest of her staff, treat you like family and will always fit you in to her busy schedule if you are having an emergency. I struggled with skin issues since I was a little kid, Dr. Ruth Treiber has made it possible for me to live without anxiety about my appearance and skin. She is the best there is! I’ve seen Dr Leah Ansell and Dr John Nia here. I can not speak highly enough of their bedside manner and professionalism. This review is particularly in regards to a minor skin procedure with Dr Nia, which I was extremely nervous about. Dr Nia is an extremely skilled surgeon and talked me through the entire procedure and made sure I felt comfortable. He made sure I knew what to expect and made the procedure painless. Last but certainly not least, Marissa, the nurse or medical assistant, was truly the star. She was extremely patient with me with all my questions. She told me in detail, what to expect after surgery with the bandages and stitches. She made sure I had nothing to worry about and took extreme care in caring for me. Honestly, if it weren’t for Marissa, I don’t know if I would have scheduled the appointment to get the procedure done.

My family have been patients of Dr's Eric and Ruth Treiber for many years. First and foremost Eric and Ruth are absolutely top notch and highly qualified physicians. But what sets them apart is the way they care for their patients. Its very unusual today to find Drs who treat their patients with such patience and caring. When you go to their office you are much more than a "number". The entire office staff is warm and interested in alleviating stress during what could be a stressful procedure. They take time to talk to you and explain things and answer any questions. To some, this may sound "old fashioned". To me this is the way things should be.

Dr. Treiber is a fantastic doctor! My daughter has been seeing him regularly for about 7 months for painful, disfiguring cystic acne.
