What is Sofwave?
Sofwave is a cutting-edge, non-invasive ultrasound technology designed to tighten and firm lax skin, build collagen and enhance skin elasticity.

It is FDA-approved to improve mild to moderate skin laxity along the jawline, neck, cheeks as well as eyelids and brows. It also helps improve crepey/wrinkled/lax skin on the arms and the legs. It is ideal for patients who are not interested in facial surgery or want to delay facial surgery. It is also great for patients who have had prior facial surgery but have noted some return of skin laxity. Additionally, it helps tighten skin off the face/neck including arms and legs.

Your Sofwave treatment:

  • We typically recommend 2 treatments; sometimes 3 depending on the level of skin laxity and the area treated with 1 treatment a year for maintenance
  • Treatments typically are 30 min-1 hour; with 1 hour of numbing prior
  • As the ultrasound energy is delivered, you may feel short-lived warmth of the skin as the pulse is applied. Topical numbing and the Zimmer cooler help to reduce any discomfort.
  • There is no downtime after the procedure including immediately after

When to expect to see results of your Sofwave treatment:

  • The collagen regeneration process can sometimes take up to 12 weeks, so patients are expected to see ongoing improvements in the 3-month period after their treatment .
  • In Sofwave’s clinical trials, results have been shown in as little as 1 month following one treatment.
