Treiber Dermatology was founded by Dr. Ruth Treiber, a board-certified dermatologist, and Westchester native over 30 years ago. She started by renting a room across the street and eventually built the practice as it stands today. She has seen many patients for 30+ years and enjoys taking care of entire families over the years. Her husband, Dr. Eric Treiber, practiced general internal medicine for ten years before deciding to complete a second residency in dermatology. He has been practicing medical dermatology along her side ever since. Dr. Leah Ansell joined the Treiber Dermatology team in July 2021, having moved from Manhattan to Westchester. Dr. Ansell trained under the Treibers and Dr. Engler during her time at Columbia and it was a natural home for her after leaving the city.
Our philosophy is simple – we treat you like we would our own family members. We pride ourselves on providing personalized, compassionate, honest care to our patients. We enjoy being dermatologists to our community and treating the entire family.
In the age of corporatized medicine, we have held tightly to our private practice model. At our office, you will never interact with a call center. Instead, you will be greeted by our receptionists and staff members, many of who have been with our practice for 10+ years.
Our team of hand-selected, top-level doctors provides the most comprehensive dermatologic care, in a boutique, private setting, providing top level medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatologic care.
