    Dr. Ruth Treiber

    Dr. Ruth Kaplan Treiber graduated from Cornell University’s College of Arts and Sciences in Ithaca, N.Y. and received her MD degree from Cornell University Medical College (now Weill Cornell) in New York City. After two years of Internal Medicine residency at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, she completed her training with a 3-year residency in dermatology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center (now New York Presbyterian/Columbia). She is board-certified in Dermatology. Since 1983 she has been in active clinical practice in Rye, New York. In 1993 she was joined in practice by Dr. Eric Treiber, her husband, who is board-certified in Dermatology as well as in Internal Medicine.

    Dr. Ruth Treiber is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University and an Associate Attending in Dermatology at New York Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center in NYC. She has been involved in the education of dermatology and medical residents and students for decades, and attends frequent continuing education conferences. She is an active member of the voluntary teaching faculty within Columbia’s Department of Dermatology, dealing with medical education.

    In addition to being a board-certified dermatologist (The American Board of Dermatology), Dr. Ruth Treiber is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the Westchester County Medical Society, and supports several other professional organizations. She has been listed for many years in ‘The Best New York Metro Area Doctors’ (Castle-Connolly Medical Ltd.), in New York Magazine’s ‘The Best Doctors in New York’, and in Westchester Magazine’s ‘The Best Doctors in Westchester’. Dr. Ruth Treiber’s main areas of interest include treatments for and prevention of aging or sun-damaged skin (including Botox/neuromodulators, IPL, Fraxel laser), acne, rosacea, skin cancer detection and prevention, and ongoing patient education to enhance optimal skin health and appearance.

    Dr. Eric Treiber

    Dr. Eric S. Treiber graduated from Queens College in New York and received his M.D. degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He was a full-time faculty member at Cornell University Medical College for two years. He then practiced Internal Medicine in Port Chester for ten years, while continuing to teach as a member of the Cornell faculty. He returned to train in Dermatology at New York Medical College, where he served as Chief Resident. Since then, Dr. Treiber has maintained an active dermatology practice in Rye, with special interests in dermatologic surgery and skin cancer treatment, sclerotherapy for leg spider veins, psoriasis (including phototherapy and new biologics) as well as demonstrating particular skill in procedures for children.

    Dr. Eric Treiber is board-certified in Dermatology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American Medical Association, Westchester County Medical Society, and several other professional societies. Additionally Dr. Eric Treiber is a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is involved in teaching and lecturing, attends continuing education conferences, and participates in nationwide surgical meetings.

    Dr. Leah Ansell

    Dr. Leah Ansell, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in cosmetic, medical and surgical dermatology and a focus on providing care for the entire family. After living and working in Manhattan, she has relocated to lower Westchester with her husband and three young children.
    Dr. Ansell, a third generation physician, grew up in the Chicago-area and graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College. She earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honors society for top graduating medical students. She was also awarded the Phi Rho Sigma Prize for highest overall standing and best performance in medical school.

    Dr. Ansell completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, followed by Dermatology Residency at Columbia University New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. She has participated in many medical mission trips over the years and has traveled to Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Rwanda to provide medical care.

    Dr. Ansell has been practicing on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with Dr. Ellen Gendler. She is excited to practice closer to her new home, providing comprehensive care for the entire family. She has extensive experience and expertise with cosmetics and helps patients achieve a natural, refreshed look. She performs neuromodulator injections (Botox), filler injections (Juvederm, Voluma, Restylane, etc), lasers including Clear+Brilliant, Fraxel, V-beam, IPL, platelet-rich-plasma (PRP) for hair rejuvenation, microneedling, and chemical peels.

    Dr. Ansell is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Columbia, where she teaches cosmetic techniques to the dermatology residents. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons (ASDS), American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), and Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS).

    When not seeing patients, Dr. Ansell can be found making new recipes, running, reading her Kindle, or chasing after her three young children.

    Dr. John Nia

    Dr. John Nia is a fellowship trained practicing dermatologic and cosmetic surgeon. His training background is a unique blend of medical and surgical training in cutaneous oncology, facial and oculoplastic surgery. A native New Yorker, Dr. Nia graduated with honors from an accelerated 7- year program at the City University of New York where he combined undergraduate studies with his medical degree. He continued his training as an intern at Lenox Hill Hospital before completing his dermatology residency at Mount Sinai, where he was selected as chief resident.

    He was fellowship-trained at Clinic 5C under Dr. Cameron Chesnut. His fellowship featured an integration of facial plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery, and dermatologic surgery. Through this integration, Dr. John Nia has become a well-rounded and facial reconstructive and cosmetic surgeon with an expertise in medical and surgical skin cancer treatment, plastic reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, as well as laser and aesthetic dermatology.

    Outside of managing and treating skin cancer, Dr. Nia has a particular interest in cosmetic blepharoplasty, laser resurfacing, and regenerative medicine through the use of adipocyte derived stem cells.

    Dr. Margot Chima

    Margot Chima MD, FAAD is a thoughtful and dynamic board-certified dermatologist with a primary focus on general and cosmetic dermatology.
    Dr. Chima was born in Westchester and raised in Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan, graduating with honors. She was awarded a scholarship to attend the University of Nebraska Medical Center for medical school, where she also graduated with honors. Dr. Chima completed her dermatology residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she was selected by her faculty and peers as chief resident.

    Exceling in providing patients with personalized, holistic, and up-to-date medical and cosmetic treatments, Dr. Chima has published dozens of articles, book chapters, and abstracts. She has been the study doctor on more than 35 clinical trials for conditions like acne, wrinkles, eczema, and psoriasis. She is sought after for helping patients achieve their natural cosmetic goals with minimally and non-invasive techniques like biostimulatory fillers, neuromodulators, platelet rich plasma (PRP), and energy-based devices.

    Dr. Chima is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons (ASDS), Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS), and American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery (ASLMS). She serves on the AAD Practice Operations Committee and was selected as a member for the ASDS Future Leader’s Network.

    When not caring for patients at Treiber Dermatology Associates, she is a Clinical Instructor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she loves teaching the dermatology residents. Dr. Chima enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and watching Jeopardy with her husband, a Westchester native.

    Dr. Catherine Motosko

    Catherine Motosko, MD, FAAD, is a double-board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgeon in New York City. Dr. Motosko graduated from Duke University with a degree in biology and chemistry. She earned her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine. After an internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, she completed her dermatology residency at the University of Miami. Furthering her expertise, Dr. Motosko pursued a prestigious fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic oncology, and reconstructive surgery in Pittsburgh, PA, under the direction of John Zitelli, MD and David Brodland, MD. Dr. Motosko has an extensive academic background, having authored over 35 PubMed-indexed scientific journal articles and several textbook chapters. She is a sought-after speaker, frequently lectures at local, regional, and national academic conferences.

    She is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgeons. Additionally, she serves on the Advisory Board Executive Committee and SkinPAC Board of Advisors for the American Academy of Dermatology and is a former member of the Board of the Directors of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Motosko enjoys marathon training, listening to podcasts, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
